Burntwood 2nd XV vs. Newcastle 2nd XV

As usual at this time of year we were governed by the weather with one fixture called off away to Newcastle because of a frozen pitch. The 1st XV have kept up their recent run of good form with wins against Telford in the league and Cannock in the Staffordshire Intermediate Cup which secured their semi-final spot in January.
Burntwood 2nd & 3rd XV's also tasted success with the seconds beating Newcastle by 50+ points and a fantastic, passion fuelled game against Leek 2nd XV to win 13-12, a particularly pleasing result as Leek 2nd XV had beaten them earlier by 99-0.
