Quite an eventful month with the Under 17's becoming the very first Burntwood Junior Team to tour abroad. The lads travelled to Italy and beat hosts Monza 41-0. The other tour to Spain was cloaked in confusion and eventually didn't happen. The 1st XV had a tough month and lost to Harbourne, Bourneville and Handsworth before beating Willenhall on the 29th. Captain Graham Shelley was banned for 8 weeks following his outburst to an official earlier in the season. Burntwood 2nd's had good wins against Lichfield and Sutton Coldfield but lost to Rugeley whilst the 3rd XV went down to Wolverhampton and Willenhall and gained victory against Rugeley.
