Gone to the Dogs
Burntwood Rugby Club Junior Section took the
opportunity thanks to “Fundrazor & Monmore Green” to raise much needed
funds for the section.
We were given 100 free tickets for a night out at the Greyhounds. The
tickets were sold for £5with all the monies being retained by the
section.
My thanks go to Gerry McGann, Julia & Jason Grundy who organised the
event together with the return coach.
An enjoyable night was had by all & it was a joy to see the Club bonding
away from the normal Rugby environment.
We were the best supported club on the night which tells you something
about how Burntwood RFU approaches things in general.
My congratulations to all of you who supported the section.
I have to say that whilst the singing on the return coach journey was
enthusiastic, I think that we are in need of a Junior Section “Choir
Master”. Any takers?
