 FRAN COTTON

Another legendary prop who played for England between 1971-1981 winning 31 caps. A double British Lion, touring in 1974 & 1977 and manager of the 1997 Lions tour that stuffed the Springboks. Fran is also a school friend of our own Gary Johnson.

JOHN BENTLEY

John Bentley was guest speaker in 2006 and gave a fantastic night of entertainment. The former Clekheaton player who says what he likes and likes what he bloody well says, really got involved with the club members during his speech and at the bar afterwards. John was part of the Lions tour to South Africa in 1997 and didn't quite see eye to eye with Springbok winger James Small.

GARETH CHILCOT

'Coochie', another legend of the English front row won 14 caps between 1984 & 1993. He was also part of the dominant Bath team during the 80's and early 90's playing along side Jeremy Guscott and Andy Robinson to name just two. He also toured Australia with the Lions in 1989.

RICHARD HILL

The current Bristol coach, Richard Hill was capped at scrum half 29 times for England and played his club rugby behind the Bath pack of the 80's and early 90's. He was regarded as having the best pass in the world off either hand.
